This will be Ron Forster’s third offshore racing season but his first Sydney Gold Coast Yacht Race. Ariel finished fourth in the 2013-2014 CYCA’s Blue Water Pointscore and was second in the Tasman Performance Series (PHS category of the BWPS). This was a huge improvement on her results from 2012/2013, moving up eight places to finish inside the top five.

In last year’s Rolex Sydney Hobart, Ariel finishing 29th overall and eighth in IRC Division 3 and recently claimed the Division B win in the Land Rover Winter Series.
